EA E3 2011 Press Conference

Mass Effect 3 started off the press conference with a trailer and live demo. Expect a release on March 6, 2012.

A game announced a little over a month ago, Need for Speed: The Run, made an appearance with a live demo. The game is set to release this November.

Star Wars: The Old Republic also got a lenghty trailer, but no further deatils were given.

SSX, a snowbaording simulator, is getting a new release January of 2012. The game is said to be the grandest yet, featuring the every major mountain range in the world, apparently collecting data from NASA for the tracks.

EA Sports got some representation with both FIFA 12 and Madden. FIFA 12 is to be the most realistic sports game to date, with improved tactical defending and precision dribbling. The player impact engine brings close to life intereactions with players revolutionizing the game. The Football Club,  a social networking club that connects countless FIFA through stats and extra achievements, will be released alongside FIFA12.

The Sims Social, a new Facebook app, gives the users of Facebook an opportunity to experince The Sims themselves. The Sims Social is expected to launch this year. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning also got a trailer.

OverStrike brings you four agents working together to breach a high security stronghold. The use of humor is evident and will be an element used throughout the game. No gameplay yet but expect more at the E3 Showfloor.

And last but definitley not least, Battlefield 3 was shown off with over 20 minutes of gorgoeus multiplayer and campaign modes. The Frostbite 2.0 engine blew the minds of gamers everyewhere as buildings crumbeled and lighting effects glistened the scene. An open beta will be available in September and the game will October 25, 2011. Mark your calenders, it’s going to be a big one.
