Staff Openings!

Generic Grasslands is at it again. We are looking to expand our current staff to help bring content to the site as well as get some fresh and new perspectives into our content.

My ultimate, personal goal here at Generic Grasslands is to practice my writing, researching, editing and a variety of other useful skills that will help me further my desire of becoming a journalist, more specifically a video game journalist. Having half a year to work on the site by primarily myself, I know it’s time to expand the staff.

I am looking for young, aspiring journalists who wish to someday make it big in the industry. We are by no means a big site and I believe this is a great starting point for anyone interested in entering the field. I would like to make the new staff a close one, working individually but also being active member of the community and working very closely with the rest of the staff. Communication between the staff will be a key factor in our success.

I don’t have anything in mind in terms of numbers and positions. All I ask is that you send me an email letting me know that you are interested. If you have a link or copy of any previous work you have done, please show it in the email. This is by no means a requirement and don’t discouraged to send me an email if you have no previous experience.

Mario Party Legacy, our host site, is also looking into expanding their staff.

  1. I really hope members and other people come ere and help out here and Mario Party Legacy. We would like to hear what you have to post/say about articles for 2012! I wish you the best of luck for the upcoming year.

I realized the site is basically dead. You’re probably mostly working with MPL instead of here, so maybe you could use a bit of help here to get it “running” again. I could help make some articles here if you’d like.
